Reduce Image Sizes Using iPhoto
PowerPoint presentations and images on the web can be unweildy, with high resolution images creating giant file sizes and slowing down transfers over the internet. This tutorial will teach you how to use iPhoto (Mac) to quickly optimize photos for PowerPoint or other digital presentations.
To create a standard photo album:
Choose File > New Album.
To duplicate a photo:
Select all the photos in the library that you want to change.
Choose Photos > Duplicate.
Select the duplicate photos and drag them into the new album.
Exporting photos
You can export photos from your photo library or an album so you can send them to others or import them into another application.
To export photos:
-
Select the duplicate photos.
Choose File > Export.
Format: Choose a file format for your exported images from the Format pop-up menu.
Size: If necessary, scale images to a specific size by specifying a maximum width and height.
