The Symposium seeks to highlight excellence in teaching and learning and to promote collaboration across the CSU system. All CSU faculty are invited to attend and to submit proposals about their own work in teaching and learning.

Dear Colleagues,

We are pleased to invite you to the 12th CSU Regional Symposium on University Teaching, and we are delighted to be hosting the event in 2009 at Cal Poly in San Luis Obispo. This is an opportunity for you to interact with faculty who are committed to excellence in teaching across the CSU system.

The CSU Symposium is a peer-reviewed conference for teaching and learning. We hope that you submit your work for a conference presentation or poster session. These conferences have proven to be inspiring, energetic events that renew and invigorate the CSU's commitment to teaching and learning. The conference offers the following content areas for conference proposals:

The deadline for submitting proposals is March 2, 2009. The deadline for conference registration is April 1, 2009. For more information about the conference, registration and fees, travel and lodging, and submitting a proposal, please review our conference website. Also, please contact the staff of the Center for Teaching and Learning at Cal Poly SLO if you have any additional questions.
